Our History

Posey’s Hearing Aid Center was established in 1957 by Marvin and Diane Posey. Their daughter Kathy and her husband Pete have since adopted the family business and ventured to the San Francisco East Bay area to continue the tradition of success. Kathy is a Board Certified clinical audiologist and has been working to improve the lives of the hearing impaired for the majority of her life.

As hearing instrument technology has continued to change over the past 50 years, so has Posey’s. Posey's has remained on the cutting edge of the art and science of hearing aid technology and testing and fitting practices.

Continued success and scores of happy patients have allowed Kathy and Pete to expand to two locations in Contra Costa county; Walnut Creek and Antioch. Each office offers the most advanced clinical equipment, a friendly atmosphere, and hearing specialists who possess the highest degree of hearing healthcare expertise.
